The Girl Generation, the Government of Kenya through the Anti-FGM Board, the Youth Anti-FGM, the Wallace Global Fund, Human Dignity Foundation in partnership with EACHRights held the first Pan-African #YouthEndFGM summit between April 25th and 26th, 2018.
The conference brought together activists, youths and organizations fighting the FGM catastrophe from 17 countries that include: Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, UK, and the US.
