Having been involved in EACHrights research activities in the Education Support Programme, Shawn Francis realized that many children from his community are out of school. He started an initiative known as ‘Saidia Mtoto Asome’ – (Help a child get educated) which he hopes will assist children from the Kibagare area to access education. The initiative is aimed at mobilizing well-wishers to donate resources that will be used by school going children and carrying out community talks and mentorship programs that focus on education.
