MARTIN ROGERS OTIENO

FINANCE & ADMIN MANAGER

Martin is the Finance & Operations Manager at EACHRights. He has worked in various sectors including banking, educational institutions, manufacturing and Not-for-Profit Organizations for the last fourteen years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-Kenya). Martin has brought to the organization vast experience in financial management, quality control and project management, flow forecasting skills, budgeting & cash skills. He has managed the finance function and oversees the finance team.  Martin has also delivered on accurate donor reports in compliance with Grant Agreement requirements, assesses organizational financial performance, identifies and implements revenue and cost reduction improvements, prepares management reports regularly, highlights any exceptions for prompt action and reviews bank reconciliations on a monthly and timely basis. Martin also supports program/project staff to prepare budgets. He also provides timely financial monitoring information to help take corrective actions where variances occur. He has continuously steered the finance docket through best practices while embracing the latest financial technologies.
