BENEDICT OMILLO
PROGRAMME OFFICER
Benedict Omillo is a Programme Officer working under the CSO Effectiveness and the Pan African State Accountability Projects. He Holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Armed Conflict and Peace Studies/ Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Nairobi.
Benedict has extensive experience in Youth and Children’s Rights. He has accumulated detailed knowledge in project management, planning, implementation, and monitoring & evaluation. Prior to joining EACHRights, He worked with Africa Youth Trust (AYT) as a Project Officer in their Democracy and Regional Affairs Programme, where he also coordinated the East African Youth Network (EAYN). He has also worked at the East African Civil Society Organizations’ Forum (EACSOF) – Kenya Chapter as the Programmes Assistant – Youth Programmes, Partnerships and Networking.
Benedict brings to the organization key skills in networking, project management, advocacy, governance, Monitoring & Evaluation and policy reform advocacy.
