Research & Monitoring
The objective of this programme is to enhance the scholastic research on human rights and thereby push the boundaries of the same within Kenya and the East Africa region as a whole. It seeks to make EACHRights the premier reference point on issues of human rights and in particular on economic and social rights. Through this programme, EACHRights aims to establish and maintain a well-resourced Resource Centre. All interventions will be knowledge driven, and as much as possible be based on and supported by research findings or factual positions. This programme also aims at assessing the status of realization of economic and social rights in Kenya. This is done by monitoring the Government’s commitment to its international and Constitutional obligations.
