Brenda Dora is a Project Officer working under the Watoto Wetu Project at EACHRights. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Prior to joining EACHRights, she worked at the Kenya Alliance for the Advancement of Children, Kituo Cha Sheria – Legal Advice Centre and the Cradle-The Children’s Foundation in various capacities including as a Policy and Advocacy Coordinator and as a Legal Officer. She has five years’ progressive experience working in the Child Rights sector and is a passionate advocate for Women and Children’s Rights.
She is also well versed in Advocacy and Community Partnerships; and has great interest and expertise in Sexual and Gender-based Violence interventions as well as in Employment and Labour Law. She has received professional training from REDRESS-UK on Sexual and Gender-based Violence Investigation and Interviewing Techniques.
She believes that the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow and their rights must be protected as part of their reality.
